Responsibilities & Context

  • Lead editorial team to produce high-quality content.
  • Commission, edit, and proofread articles to ensure accuracy and adherence to editorial standards.
  • Develop and manage editorial calendar, coordinating with writers, photographers, and designers.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and a clean work environment.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, identify and recruit talented individuals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through regular attendance at events and networking.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contributors, freelancers, and external sources.
  • Represent the magazine at industry events and conferences, upholding its brand identity.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to upper management.
