• Nursing Staff Supervision: Oversee nursing staff in the Indoor (Nurse), POW, and Emergency (Nurse) Departments to ensure optimal patient care and high standards of service.
• Policy & Protocol Enforcement: Enforce hospital policies and clinical protocols to maintain quality nursing services and patient safety.
• Patient Care Monitoring: Continuously monitor the quality of patient care, ensuring compliance with medical, ethical, and regulatory guidelines.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage nursing teams, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, efficient duty rotations, and smooth operations.
• Training & Professional Development: Organize training and development programs to enhance nursing skills and ensure continuous professional growth.
• Staff Grievances & Environment: Address nursing staff grievances and promote a positive, supportive working environment.
• Admission & Transfer Supervision: Supervise patient admission, discharge, and transfer processes within the Indoor department, ensuring smooth transitions and patient comfort.
• Emergency & POW Patient Flow: Ensure efficient patient flow management in the Emergency and POW departments to optimize care delivery.
• Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain accurate nursing records, incident reports, and other compliance documentation in line with hospital standards.
• Emergency Preparedness: Ensure the Emergency Department is prepared for medical emergencies, maintaining readiness at all times.
• Infection Control: Implement and enforce infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination and safeguard patient health.
• Coordination with Medical Teams: Collaborate closely with doctors and medical teams during critical patient cases to ensure coordinated care.
• Patient & Family Guidance: Provide patients and their families with clear guidance on treatment plans, recovery processes, and post-hospital care.
• Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to hospital policies, accreditation standards, and all relevant government healthcare regulations.
• Equipment & Resource Management: Monitor the proper use, maintenance, and upkeep of medical equipment and hospital resources to ensure efficiency and safety.
