  • Masters, in Statistics and Economics preferably with Professional degree from any recognized public university.

  • Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar job and managerial position in any NGO/INGO. (Women are strongly encouraged to apply)
  • Excellent data management (collection, entry, analysis, and visualization) skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, or similar platforms. Familiarity with analysis software such as Kobo, Comm Care, SPSS, STATA, etc. is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect and report inconsistencies.
  • Knowledge of local language will be given preference.
  • Good command both in English & Bangla.
  • Computer skill in both English & Bangla on MS Office.
  • Good report-writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Monitoring, Evaluation, and Accountability
  • Design and develop methodologies and tools for monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and lessons learned.
  • Guide and supervise Monitoring Officers to prepare monitoring plans, design tools, conduct surveys, and analyze data to address gaps and challenges.
  • Beneficiary Accountability
  • Promote principles and practices of beneficiary accountability across programs.
  • Provide training and coaching on beneficiary feedback mechanisms and other good practices.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Work with donors, management, and project staff to process and analyze collected data.
  • Use data insights to improve project management, address challenges, and assess trends.
  • Strategic Guidance
  • Suggest strategies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness by identifying bottlenecks and proposing actionable plans.
  • Conduct baseline, midterm, and end-line surveys, and provide analyzed data, success stories, and learning documents to management.
  • MEAL System Management
  • Regularly assess the MEAL system and supervise MEAL staff, including M&E Officers.
  • Ensure timely completion of coaching and performance plans.
  • Capacity Development
  • Train and build staff capacity in program assessment, design, and MEAL methodologies.
  • Enhance quality programming through strategic staff development initiatives.
  • MEAL System Development
  • Develop a responsive MEAL system that aligns with management and donor requirements.
  • Facilitate research for contextual understanding and identification of opportunities, vulnerabilities, and resources.
  • General Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks assigned by the organization to support its mission and objectives.
