  • Experience in Maternal & Child health will be given preference.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a hospital or outdoor practice, preferably in urban areas, focusing on primary healthcare, maternal and child health, reproductive health, and communicable diseases.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Provide high-quality ESP (Essential Services Package) services in accordance with SHN standards and protocols.
  • Offer comprehensive healthcare services for maternal, neonatal, child, and adolescent health.
  • Address both communicable and non-communicable diseases.
  • Deliver sexual and reproductive health services.
  • Effectively manage prevalent health conditions.
  • Perform minor surgeries and conduct ultrasound scans.
  • Supervise the clinic’s technical staff.
  • Assist the supervisor in maintaining the Quality Circle at the clinic level.
  • Support the supervisor in facilitating monthly staff meetings, reviewing performance against set targets.
  • Ensure compliance with MCP (Minimum Clinical Practice), TIAHRT, and Helms policies.
  • Lead technical staff to ensure quality service delivery based on the quality assessment checklist.
  • Ensure adherence to standard infection prevention procedures and safe waste disposal systems within the facility.
  • Oversee and conduct technical sessions, providing necessary input.
  • Provide hands-on training for technical staff when required.
  • Manage obstetric and neonatal emergencies.
  • Offer additional maternal health services such as ANC (Antenatal Care), PNC (Postnatal Care), and CaCx (Cervical Cancer) screening according to roster duty.
  • Carry out any additional medical or surgical procedures as requested by relevant authorities.
