Responsibilities & Context

  • Medical Leadership and Oversight:
  • Provide medical leadership and oversight for clinical trials across multiple hospital sites, ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with hospital-based investigators and clinical staff to facilitate the smooth conduct of trials.
  • Clinical Data Review and Safety Monitoring:
  • Review and evaluate clinical data from various trial sites, addressing any medical concerns and identifying potential safety signals.
  • Monitor the safety of trial participants, including reviewing adverse events and providing recommendations for necessary actions.
  • Protocol and Documentation Development:
  • Develop and review clinical trial protocols, informed consent documents, and other regulatory documents to ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Risk Management and Participant Welfare:
  • Advise on risk management strategies to safeguard the safety and welfare of participants across all trial locations.
  • Site Evaluation and Collaboration:
  • Assist in evaluating new hospital sites for clinical trial participation, ensuring that they align with the objectives and requirements of the study.
