  • MBBS degree from any institution recognized by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC).

Responsibilities & Context

  • Deliver clinical care by diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions and diseases.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, including physical examinations and detailed patient histories, to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, adjusting them as necessary based on patient progress and changing medical conditions.
  • Provide immediate care in emergency situations, stabilizing patients for further treatment or transfer.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and regulations, including medical ethics and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Work closely with nurses, specialists, and allied healthcare staff to provide coordinated and integrated care.
  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and contribute to initiatives that enhance healthcare services.
  • Mentor and train junior medical staff, including residents and interns.
  • Attend to OPD, inpatient wards, and cabin patients.
  • Take part in academic sessions, clinical classes, and departmental seminars as directed.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the competent authority.
