Age & Gender: Male candidates, aged 28 years or older.
Core Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in Merchandising, Product Development, or Sourcing. Hands-on experience working directly at the factory floor level is required.
Technical Apparel Expertise: Deep understanding of apparel costing, garment construction, production processes, and sourcing fabrics or trims.
Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Bangladesh fashion retail landscape, local consumer preferences, and competitive pricing structures.
Key Competencies: Outstanding negotiation skills, analytical pricing capabilities, and the independence to manage product development cycles across multiple stakeholders.
Tools & Systems: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard merchandising documentation.
Important Note on Background: This position specifically caters to the Bangladesh domestic retail market. Preference will be given to individuals with a background in local fashion or lifestyle brands. Candidates whose experience is strictly limited to export-oriented merchandising may not meet the strategic requirements of this role.
