  • Bachelor/Honors, in Textile Technology at Reputed University.

Experience


  • 3 Year

Additional Requirements


  • Extensive experience in product development, material sourcing, costing, production tracking, and executing orders independently.
  • Strong knowledge of product costing, particularly in knit and woven fabrics, fabric properties, fabric printing, and surface applications (e.g., heat transfer, embroidery, screen printing), as well as kidswear product safety and integrity.
  • Deep understanding of fabrics with a well-established network of fabric, print, embroidery, and trims suppliers.
  • Excellent grasp of technical and production processes.
  • Ability to handle buyers independently under high pressure with a proactive marketing attitude.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla and English.
  • Strong presentation and delivery abilities.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Expertise in garments and textiles, particularly in knit and woven fabrics.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Creative, innovative, and able to bring fresh ideas and concepts.
  • Proactive, honest, dedicated, and hardworking.
  • Candidates with frequent job changes need not apply.
  • Self-motivated team player, able to work effectively under pressure.
  • A keen eye for color and an intuitive understanding of fabrics and materials.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure consistent follow-up on production and samples with factories, adhering to related procedures.
  • Regularly visit factories to gather market insights.
  • Collaborate closely with fabric mills and suppliers ahead of design packs to develop new fabrics and finishes, aiming to reduce lead times.
  • Maintain regular communication with buyers regarding daily merchandising activities and approvals.
  • Source trims, accessories, and fabrics from both local and international suppliers.
