• Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg), in Textile Technology

Experience

• 5 Year to 7 Year

• Lead new buyer development, prioritizing initial work and relationship-building.
• Responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies for garment products.
• Supervise, coordinate, and independently lead a merchandising team with in-depth knowledge of knit garments.
• Oversee costing and pricing of garments, negotiating with buyers to finalize acceptable prices.
• Monitor production status, sampling, and ensure merchandisers provide timely and accurate information to buyers.
• Manage client accounts from order inquiry to shipment, including inventory and supply chain planning.
• Demonstrate expertise in working with special imported fabrics.
• Ensure proper follow-up with buyers, meeting deadlines and adhering to timelines.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure on-time shipments, ensuring merchandisers are regularly updating order statuses to buyers.
• Oversee all aspects of quality control from the initial stages to the final production phase.
• Maintain close communication with buyers and suppliers for updates on production progress.
• Coordinate customer and supplier visits, deploying resources as necessary.
• Possess a strong understanding of product costing and pricing processes.
• Ensure subordinates fulfill their responsibilities according to organizational policies.
• Plan effectively to ensure smooth operations within the team.
• Arrange and conduct briefings, training, coordination, and decision-making in a timely manner.
• Actively contribute to formulating factory policies.
• Take on any additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
