  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing & merchandising in the apparel/textile industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of garment production, costing, and supply chain management.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to strengthen brand positioning and drive business growth.
  • Identify and acquire new clients while nurturing strong relationships with existing buyers.
  • Oversee the entire merchandising process, from order confirmation to final shipment, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Monitor product development, costing, and pricing strategies to maintain competitive advantages.
  • Coordinate with production, sourcing, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Negotiate with buyers and vendors to optimize pricing, terms, and lead times.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust business strategies effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Lead and mentor the merchandising team to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Oversee order tracking, WIP (Work In Progress) reports, and ensure on-time delivery without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with design and R&D teams to foster innovative product development.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions to meet targets.
  • Maintain effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.
