Minimum 2 years of working experience in an NGO and/or hospital setting (preferred)
Willingness to work in hard-to-reach and remote areas.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.
Be accountable to the Facility In-Charge for assigned duties and overall performance.
Assist in emergency management during Normal Vaginal Delivery (NVD), Caesarean Section, ANC, PNC, delivery, and delivery-related patient care.
Provide patient counseling, particularly in gynecological and maternal health cases.
Manage and implement ward duty schedules during gynecological camps.
Ensure the use of sterile linen, gauze, cotton, and instruments during delivery procedures.
Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention and control (IPC) practices, including housekeeping standards.
Examine and continuously monitor pregnant women.
Assess care needs and prepare appropriate care plans.
Provide comprehensive antenatal care (ANC) services.
Conduct required screening tests.
Offer accurate information, emotional support, and reassurance to women and their partners.
Collect patient samples and monitor vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure.
Provide care and assistance to women during labour and delivery.
Administer and monitor medications, injections, and intravenous infusions during labour.
Monitor the foetus throughout labour.
Advise and support parents in the daily care of newborns.
Provide compassionate support to parents experiencing miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, or neonatal death.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
Tutor and guide student midwives.
Identify and manage high-risk pregnancies, referring when necessary.
Work on a rotation basis and remain available for 24-hour on-call duty as required.
Prepare and submit monthly reports.
Perform any other duties assigned by the concerned authority.
Prepare and present reports on cases, incidents, and initiatives during team and departmental meetings to share learning and experiences.
Attend all required training programs and clinical sessions.
Actively participate in mentoring activities organized by Friendship.
Demonstrate professional growth by developing interest in a specific clinical specialty.
Perform duties according to the roster schedule.
