The Socio-Economic and Rural Advancement Association (SERAA) is a locally rooted, non-profit, non-political, and non-governmental development organization established in 1997 by a group of committed social workers in the Netrakona district. The organization aims to improve the socio-economic conditions of rural poor households—particularly the ultra-poor, marginalized, and distressed groups—with a strong focus on children, adolescents, and women.
For more than 27 years, SERAA has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of underprivileged ethnic and tribal communities, as well as other minority and majority groups, without any discrimination based on caste, creed, or religion. Over time, it has earned a solid reputation in the development sector. SERAA’s work spans across education, health and nutrition, environmental development, climate-resilient agriculture, and various consultancy services.
Project Title: Maternal, Newborn & Child Health and Nutrition (MNCH-N)
Project Coverage: 86 unions, 5 municipalities, and 10 upazilas of Netrakona District.
