Education


  • Masters, Master’s degree in social science preferably Statistics/Development Studies/Economics/Sociology or other relevant areas.

Experience

Additional Requirements


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership position with MEAL responsibilities in NGOs, preferably National/INGOs.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Bengali.
  • Proven expertise in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Practical experience with Open Data Kit (ODK) tools, especially CommCare and CommCare Plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Skills in analyzing data using statistical software like SPSS or STATA are an advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Support MEAL activities in alignment with CB program quality principles, standards, donor guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with CB technical and program staff to enhance the delivery of high-quality programming.
  • Guide project teams in establishing a robust MEAL system and ensuring effective implementation of MEAL activities.
  • Focus on MEAL activities for CIMOs and BHA/USAID-funded Emergency, Recovery, DRR, and Anticipatory Action Projects for Caritas Bangladesh.
  • Provide daily support to the Head of DM, Coordinators, Project Managers, and MEAL staff to produce quality data and insights.
  • Monitor program performance, track hypotheses, and ensure collaboration and coordination.
