Responsibilities & Context

  • Team Leadership & Training: Lead and train sewing operators to meet production targets, ensuring efficiency and quality on a lot-by-lot basis.
  • Production Monitoring: Monitor daily production, line input, and work-in-progress (WIP) to ensure smooth operations.
  • WIP Reduction & Bottleneck Management: Reduce WIP and address bottlenecks in the sewing line to improve production flow.
  • Machine Maintenance & Technical Adjustments: Understand machine tension, perform maintenance, and make technical adjustments to optimize machine performance.
  • Production Planning & Follow-up: Plan production based on the delivery target date, ensuring PO, lot, and style-wise planning aligns with target vs. actual achievements.
  • Sewing Line Accountability: Take responsibility for the sewing line’s performance, ensuring accountability for meeting production goals.
  • Resource Management: Plan production based on available resources (materials, machinery, and manpower) while adhering to company-specified time limits.
  • Wastage Reduction & Quality Assurance: Focus on reducing wastage and ensuring the production of high-quality products (QA).
  • Machine Optimization: Ensure all machines operate according to the production plan to achieve maximum efficiency and output.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit quality and monthly production achievement reports to management.
  • Operation & Maintenance Oversight: Supervise and manage the operation and maintenance of machinery, ensuring proper functioning and minimal downtime.
  • Mechanical Works Supervision: Oversee and perform all types of mechanical works, including installation, maintenance, repair, renovation, and modification.
