We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Network Administrator with extensive experience in enterprise-level networking, advanced routing protocols, infrastructure design, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers, architect secure and scalable network solutions, and manage a diverse range of network devices and operating systems including Linux and BSD-based environments.
Network Design & Implementation:
Design, deploy, and manage complex network architectures for enterprise environments.
Expertise in Static, Dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP and advanced routing techniques.
Configure and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices from leading vendors (Cisco, MikroTik, Juniper, Fortinet, Meraki, HPE Aruba Series, Polo Alto, Huawei, etc.).
Cybersecurity Leadership:
Lead the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures, including firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), DoS, DDoS protection, VPNs, and secure network segmentation.
Drive the development and enforcement of network security policies and best practices.
Experience with SIEM tools, threat hunting, incident response, and vulnerability assessments.
Routing & Infrastructure Expertise:
Manage and optimize enterprise-level routing (BGP, OSPF) for multi-site connectivity, MPLS, VPN, Tunnel, SD-WAN, and other WAN technologies. Solid understanding in tcp/udp with IPv4 & IPv6.
Extensive knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, VRFs, tunneling, and MPLS networks.
Oversee network infrastructure projects, including data center design, cloud integration, and high-availability (HA) systems.
Linux/BSD Systems:
Deep expertise in Linux and BSD-based operating systems for network services, security tools, and performance tuning.
Design and manage network solutions in open-source environments using technologies.
Engage in R&D for optimizing open-source solutions for large-scale enterprise deployments.
Deep expertise in shell, bash, Json scripts, yml, etc.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead a team of network engineers, ensuring timely project delivery and troubleshooting escalations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, security, and IT operations.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to skill development within the team.
Continuous Improvement & R&D:
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in networking and cybersecurity.
Research and development efforts to evaluate and implement new tools, systems, and strategies to improve network performance and security.
