Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)/ Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)/ Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE)/ Information and Communication Technology (ICT)/ Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering (EECE) from any reputed university of Bangladesh.
Experience: 2 to 10 years

Networking & Infrastructure Management:

  • Expertise in IP subnetting, configuring firewalls (Mikrotik), NAT, port forwarding, and bandwidth control techniques.
  • Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and network hardware like routers, switches, OLTs, and firewalls.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPNs and customer network devices.
  • Strong understanding of FTTx networks, including OLT/ONU setup and troubleshooting.

Performance Optimization & Maintenance:

  • Perform network monitoring, health checks, and maintenance to ensure system integrity and performance.
  • Plan and manage capacity for routers, switches, and backbone resources.
  • Regularly perform system upgrades and resolve connectivity issues for corporate, retail, and banking clients.

Customer Engagement & Problem Solving:
  • Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored network solutions.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex networking issues under pressure.

Team Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Collaborate with teams to design, configure, and manage ISP network infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and team management skills.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and optimize internet and data connectivity.
  • Manage security, facilities maintenance, and compliance with best practices.
  • Alternate Skill Set: Cybersecurity Specialist

Threat Detection & Incident Response:
  • Expertise in identifying, triaging, and managing security incidents (containment, eradication, and recovery).
  • Proficient in tools like SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, Carbon Black).

Malware Analysis & Forensics:
  • Analyze malware and perform digital forensics using tools like FTK, EnCase, and Autopsy.

Network & Endpoint Security:
  • Advanced understanding of IDS/IPS systems, network protocols, and endpoint protection.

Scripting & Automation:
  • Skilled in automating tasks with Python and PowerShell; experience with SOAR platforms (Demisto, Phantom).

Vulnerability Management & Threat Intelligence:
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools like Nessus and Qualys, and manage patching processes.
  • Leverage the MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence platforms for reporting and analysis.

Security Frameworks & Compliance:
  • Apply NIST, ISO 27001 frameworks, and ensure adherence to standards like PCI-DSS, GDPR, and HIPAA.

Communication & Reporting:
  • Draft detailed security incident reports and maintain playbooks for incident response.

Certifications:
  • Preferably certified in Security+, CEH, GCIA, GCIH, OSCP, or CISSP with practical SOC experience.
