Job Context:
Sara Hospital & Diagnostic is seeking skilled and compassionate NICU Nurses to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Ideal candidates should have experience or a strong interest in caring for premature and critically ill newborns.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 24/7 nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, feeding patterns, and overall clinical status of infants.
Assist in newborn procedures, including CPAP, suctioning, cannulation, and feeding tube insertion.
Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by doctors.
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of NICU equipment such as incubators, warmers, ventilators, and infusion pumps.
Maintain accurate nursing records, charts, and reports.
Adhere to strict infection prevention and NICU safety protocols.
Support and guide parents, explaining care procedures and providing emotional support.
Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and nursing staff to ensure smooth NICU operations.
Participate in a rotating duty roster covering day and night shifts.
