Key Responsibilities

  • Direct students to the appropriate OAA faculty member based on their queries
  • Provide academic guidance and personalized support to new students and those on probation
  • Track academic performance and follow up with students who miss advising sessions
  • Oversee mentor activities and ensure smooth execution of ice-breaking, pre-mid, and post-mid sessions
  • Gather and clean data related to student advising, attendance, and performance
  • Analyze student performance data using statistical tools and provide insights
  • Develop charts and figures using Excel to present data insights
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports summarizing student progress and advising effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with University’s data security policies in handling student records
  • Continuously learn about trends in academic advising and data analysis techniques
