Additional Requirements

  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.

  • Solid understanding of labor laws and HR best practices; familiarity with procurement procedures and donor compliance is a plus.

  • Excellent skills in communication (both Bengali and English), facilitation, negotiation, and report writing.

  • Demonstrates integrity, maintains confidentiality, and upholds fairness, with a strong commitment to safeguarding and ethical behavior.

  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working effectively under pressure.

  • Possesses a customer-oriented mindset.

  • Strong ability to collaborate in teams and engage with various stakeholders across departments.

  • Willing and able to travel as needed.


Responsibilities & Context

  • Coordinate and implement regional recruitment and selection activities in alignment with central HR policies, as well as UCEP’s mission, vision, and values.

  • Maintain and regularly update personnel records for regional staff.

  • Support the planning and execution of staff training and orientation programs as needed.

  • Manage and document employee separation and exit processes in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Share HRIS data, employee records, and relevant HR reports with the central HR team at UCEP Head Office on a regular basis.

  • Assist in regional procurement activities in coordination with the central Admin/Procurement team, following the UCEP Procurement Manual.

  • Ensure proper maintenance of procurement records, vendor files, inventory documents, legal paperwork, utility bills, and other administrative documents.

  • Provide necessary support during internal and external audits, ISO assessments, investigations, and reviews related to HR, administration, safeguarding, and disciplinary matters.

  • Oversee transportation and vehicle management activities.

  • Supervise support staff including drivers, office assistants, and cleaners.

  • Maintain the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and confidentiality across all duties.

  • Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
