Education


  • Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor of Science (BSc), (Textile or IPE) Or Minimum Graduate In any Discipline

  • Must have working experience in Knit Item & Outerwear (especially Jacket).
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Adequate knowledge & experience of MS Office package.
  • The applicant should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven & have good personality.
  • Must be proficient and fluent in English.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Prepare operational breakdowns, layouts, and calculate Standard Minute Values (SMV).
  • Simplify processes using methods such as method study, motion study, and production study.
  • Optimize line balancing by reducing takt time through time studies and effective monitoring.
  • Conduct operator skill tests and maintain a skill matrix for evaluation.
  • Identify bottlenecks, implement solutions, and work to reduce non-productive time.
  • Monitor and suggest strategies for reducing SMV.
  • Focus on pre-production activities, including reviewing breakdowns, layouts, and manpower, as part of the monthly plan to minimize changeover time.
  • Support the IE manager in executing and evaluating worker performance, motivating employees, planning incentives, addressing disciplinary issues, and identifying training needs.
  • After receiving orders from the merchandising department, provide timelines and action plans (T&A) for the knitting and dyeing departments.
  • Develop T&A plans for cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, and finishing to align with shipment schedules and ensure a seamless supply chain.
  • Set targets to maximize efficiency and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with knitting, dyeing, AOP, stores, cutting, sewing, finishing, and merchandising teams to align daily and monthly line loading plans and delivery dates.
  • Perform risk analysis for weekly and monthly orders and develop appropriate solutions.
