  • Knowledge and experience in e-commerce.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Analyze local market information regarding suppliers, material prices, and other qualitative and quantitative issues to identify and develop new potential vendors.
  • Plan procurement operations in consultation with superiors to schedule priorities and avoid duplication of efforts.
  • Coordinate with other functions to compare different offers and inquiries, and follow up to ensure local purchases, including printing materials, are completed efficiently.
  • Process purchase orders for the corporate office and other locations centrally.
  • Handle insurance claims within the stipulated time frame, following up to ensure claims are realized, sending monthly insurance claim statements to the central accounts, and processing bills from C&F agents and other departmental expenses for payment.
  • Ensure timely renewal of all insurance policies and other related policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of LPOs and other departmental documents.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Work closely with the Procurement Manager and other partners, including country operations, SHEQ, welding teams, and external organizations, such as industry and legislative bodies.
  • Collaborate with other enabling functions to enhance efficiency.
