Responsibilities & Context

  • Implement production strategies and procedures to ensure efficient operations on the production floor.
  • Facilitate smooth shift transitions by clearly communicating with the previous shift's in-charge. Inspect the production floor for empty or soon-to-be-empty looms, prepare a beam-up list, and promptly notify the mechanical department.
  • Ensure optimal workforce distribution to meet production requirements.
  • Record essential production data in the logbook and communicate production-related issues to superiors and other departments.
  • Coordinate with the mechanical and electrical departments to resolve breakdowns, ensuring consistent quality and uninterrupted production.
  • Monitor stock levels of products produced by the looms and manually record loose stock in the register.
  • Document daily production operations, including total production per shift, efficiency, and other relevant activities in the production section.
  • Prepare a list of operators assigned to different looms to create the daily incentive list.
  • Supervise tasks related to tie-ups, loom operations, fabric quality, and other production activities.
  • Prepare and submit the daily production report for the active shift.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by superiors.
