  • Familiarity with quality assurance practices, including fabric washing systems that adhere to standards and the 4-point inspection method.
  • Understanding of the textile and garment production processes, encompassing fabric inspection, cutting, and washing with regard to color bleeding.
  • Strong analytical abilities coupled with proficient report writing skills.
  • Valued for innovative thinking aimed at improving existing processes and procedures.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Adhere to and uphold the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for processing and finishing product quality in accordance with specifications.
  • Perform comprehensive inspections of each consignment, ensuring color bleeding tests, styling accuracy, measurements, and all other quality criteria align with the approved sample.
  • Inspect raw materials and accessories to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Identify defects and proactively address just-in-time (JIT) issues.
  • Supervise and enforce thorough quality control measures at all inspection stages, including inline, pre-final, and final inspections.
  • Regularly visit vendor factories as needed.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement preventive measures to minimize garment faults and defects, as well as analyze customer feedback.
  • Maintain documentation of quality reports, statistical analyses, and related records, while preparing reports and presentations.
  • Work collaboratively with production partners to identify and implement quality improvements.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, along with any additional assignments delegated by management, in line with organizational needs and guidelines.
