Officer / Senior Officer - Special Asset Management (SAM) Department

IIDFC PLC, a Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) sponsored by ten public and private sector banks, three insurance companies, and the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB), is seeking qualified and experienced professionals for its Special Asset Management (SAM) Department.

Reporting Line: Reports to the Head of Branch and Head of SAM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up on overdue and classified loans to achieve assigned recovery targets.

• Maintain regular communication with borrowers and negotiate repayment and settlement of outstanding loans.

• Visit borrowers and their business locations as required for loan recovery.

• Assess borrowers’ repayment capacity and recommend appropriate recovery and settlement options.

• Monitor assigned classified loan accounts and develop effective recovery plans.

• Coordinate with the Legal Department and panel lawyers regarding legal notices, recovery cases, and other legal proceedings.

• Follow up on court cases and assist with legal recovery proceedings when required.

• Assist in loan rescheduling and settlement processes in accordance with Bangladesh Bank guidelines and company policies.

• Maintain and update recovery records in the database, monitor progress, and prepare regular recovery reports.

• Coordinate with Relationship Managers (RMs), branch officials, and other departments to ensure effective loan recovery.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Branch or Head of SAM.
