Responsibilities & Context

  • Receive purchase requisitions and verify procurement requirements based on minimum reordering levels and storage capacity.
  • Collect quotations from vendors/suppliers and negotiate to secure the best price.
  • Prepare a comparative statement and create the purchase order in the ERP system after obtaining approval.
  • Purchase materials at the best possible price and quality, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Ensure product specifications are met during procurement to minimize rejection rates.
  • Process bills in accordance with company policies and submit them to the billing department.
  • Monitor payments to vendors, and intervene when necessary to ensure vendor satisfaction.
