Responsibilities & Context

  • Sampling, analyzing, and documenting incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and specimen samples.
  • Conducting physical and chemical analysis of intermediate, bulk, and finished products.
  • Performing analysis of long-term and accelerated stability studies for finished products.
  • Sampling, analyzing, and documenting purified water (PW), water for injection (WFI), demineralized water (DM), effluent treatment plant (ETP) water, or wastewater.
  • Preparing and standardizing volumetric solutions, test solutions, buffer solutions, and indicators, as applicable.
  • Receiving, maintaining, and preparing working standards for certified reference standards (CRS), reference standards (RS), and laboratory reagents.
  • Overseeing the qualification and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Standard Test Procedures (STP), and specifications as required.
