Additional Requirements

• Provide day-to-day support in the OT (Operating Theatre) and Ward operations.
• Transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher for treatment or surgery between care facilities.
• Carry messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments.
• Make beds and maintain cleanliness in patients' rooms.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Perform maintenance tasks, such as assisting with the set-up and upkeep of equipment, and cleaning or sterilizing medical tools.
• Assist bedridden patients by turning them over and helping them to lift or reposition themselves.
• Aid patients in sitting, standing, lying down, and walking as required.
• Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting needs.
• Clean patient rooms, nursing units, surgical areas, etc., using various cleaning chemicals and disinfectants, wipe equipment, clean furniture, and polish floors.
• Collect dirty laundry from patient areas and distribute clean linen and hospital gowns to the appropriate floors.
• Greet patients and their families, identifying the nature of their inquiry.
• Provide information to assist patients or refer them to the appropriate hospital support services.
• Communicate all relevant information to the OT and Ward in-charge on a daily basis.
• Handle patient-related duties for OT and Ward, as well as back-office work.
• Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Comply with waste management policies and procedures.
• Prepare and check files for patients' OT or Ward procedures.
• Follow up on the OT sequence for patients and answer family queries regarding patient progress.
• Monitor payments and procedures related to OT preparation.
• Update accounting records with issued invoices, processed payments, new balances, and customer contact information.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth service provision to patients.
• Perform any tasks as directed by the reporting authority.
• Carry out other relevant assignments as required by management.
