A 100% export-oriented, foreign-owned woven garments manufacturing company with diversified business operations is seeking a qualified professional for the following role:
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the complete payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries, benefits, deductions, and incentives. Manage and maintain payroll systems, including regular updates, security measures, and coordination with software vendors to resolve technical concerns.
Ensure full compliance with applicable tax regulations, labor laws, and data protection standards, while supporting both internal and external audit processes. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of employee data, prepare detailed payroll reports, and conduct regular reconciliations.
Continuously review and enhance payroll procedures by implementing improved policies and automation to increase operational efficiency. Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and employees to address queries and maintain smooth communication.
Prepare and execute monthly payroll for factory workers and staff, ensuring precision and timeliness. Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, leave encashment, and other entitlements in accordance with Bangladesh Labor Law.
Ensure adherence to regulations related to minimum wages, attendance, working hours, and overtime. Maintain and verify attendance records, leave data, and shift schedules to support payroll processing.
Handle all statutory payroll compliance matters, including provident fund, gratuity, tax, and other required deductions. Generate salary sheets, pay slips, and bank transfer statements, and coordinate with the finance team for salary disbursement through banking channels.
Maintain organized payroll documentation, employee salary records, and relevant reports. Address employee concerns related to salary, deductions, overtime, and benefits in a timely manner.
Monitor payroll activities, supplier payments, and other financial commitments to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, supervise and guide the IT team to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and system reliability.
