Additional Requirements
Experience: 10 to 12 years of experience in payroll management with a strong background in database management, payroll software, and compliance.
Database Knowledge: Proficient in Oracle 19c (OCP Certification) or above with PL/SQL query writing skills. Experience with SQL Server is also required.
Office Suite Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) for report generation, data analysis, and payroll-related reporting.
Reporting: Ability to generate various payroll-related reports, including buyer-accepted reports, compliance reports, and financial summaries.
Software Development: Experience in software development will be considered an additional qualification, particularly for payroll system customization and automation.
Payroll Expertise: In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance. Experience in managing payroll audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
Payroll Systems: Proficiency in payroll software and systems, including experience in the implementation and management of payroll systems.
Financial Understanding: Excellent understanding of financial principles with the ability to reconcile payroll data with financial records.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing complex payroll calculations and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet strict payroll deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels and lead the payroll team.
Integrity: High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential payroll data with professionalism and discretion.
Payroll Management: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate collection, calculation, and input of payroll data for all employees.
Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure payroll processing adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining compliance at all times.
System Administration: Administer payroll systems, ensuring data integrity, and implementing necessary system upgrades and enhancements.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Accounts & Finance, and other departments to validate payroll information, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
Payroll Discrepancies: Monitor, investigate, and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.
Reporting & Tax Filings: Generate payroll reports, salary sheets, tax filings, and benefits deductions, ensuring they comply with regulatory requirements.
Employee Support: Address employee inquiries and concerns related to payroll, offering excellent customer service and assistance.
Confidentiality & Data Security: Maintain confidentiality and data security standards for all payroll-related information.
Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations, Bangladesh Labor Law, Bangladesh Tax laws, and industry trends, ensuring compliance and implementation of best practices.
