Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a Power BI Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our data analytics and reporting solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting interactive dashboards and reports that provide key insights to the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain embedded Power BI reports and dashboards to deliver actionable insights to users.
  • Collaborate with product management and other teams to identify and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Use Power BI Desktop and Web Server to create visually compelling and informative reports.
  • Apply DAX and M formula languages for data analysis and transformations.
  • Implement role-level security (RLS) to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Integrate Power BI with various data sources, including relational databases (SQL Server) and cloud platforms (Azure).
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy through effective data modeling and governance practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Web Server, DAX, and M formula languages.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
