Responsibilities & Context

Overview: Whiteshell Limited is seeking a motivated and experienced Product Manager (Laptops, Desktop PCs, Printers, Projectors, UPS) to join our team. This role focuses on managing product lifecycles, developing product roadmaps, conducting market research, and collaborating with OEM/ODM partners. Key responsibilities include developing pricing strategies, managing budgets, planning inventory, liaising with vendors, and ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the IT hardware industry, a proven track record of achieving business goals, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement product roadmaps for laptops, desktop PCs, printers, projectors, and UPS devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product features, timelines, and business goals.
  • Continuously evaluate market trends and user needs to refine product strategies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for communication with product principals and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ), agreements, and payment terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Manage the shipment process, ensuring timely and accurate product deliveries.
  • Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies in line with market expectations.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking to deliver high-quality, competitive products.
  • Monitor market conditions and adjust pricing strategies as necessary.
  • Oversee after-sales services, including spare parts management and warranty claims.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with service teams to maintain high standards of after-sales support.
  • Work closely with the R&D team to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with OEM/ODM partners to customize products for specific market needs and company requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and timelines with OEM/ODM partners to ensure timely, cost-effective product delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to manage inventory levels and ensure product availability.
  • Forecast demand and plan stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Lead market research initiatives to identify opportunities for new product development and improvements to existing products.
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to design and develop products that meet industry standards and consumer expectations.
  • Ensure products comply with safety, performance, and environmental regulations.
  • Work with the quality assurance team to monitor product quality and address any issues proactively.
  • Prepare detailed reports on product performance, market trends, and financial metrics.
  • Develop and manage the product budget, including research, development, marketing, and operational costs.
  • Track product profitability and work with finance teams to meet financial targets.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through product development, launch activities, and post-launch analysis.
  • Foster collaboration across departments, including sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support.
  • Mentor and guide junior product team members, supporting their professional development.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Provide product expertise during customer engagements, including meetings, demonstrations, and industry events.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform future product development and marketing strategies.
