Additional Requirements

• Production Planning & Execution:
• Execute the production plan in collaboration with the Planning and Merchandising departments.
• Ensure timely input and output of garments in alignment with the shipment schedule.
• Allocate manpower and resources efficiently to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Floor Management:
• Oversee line setup, work-in-progress (WIP) control, line balancing, and output tracking.
• Ensure optimal line layout, use of work aids, and provide technical support to improve operator efficiency.
• Monitor hourly and daily production, and take corrective actions to address any bottlenecks.
• Productivity & Efficiency Improvement:
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, and other industrial engineering tools to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
• Analyze downtime and rejection rates, and implement corrective measures for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the Industrial Engineering (IE) department to review efficiency reports and improve line performance.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and implement preventive measures to reduce defects.
• Work closely with the QA/QC team to maintain product quality at each stage of the sewing process.
• Provide training and ongoing supervision to enhance operator skills and product quality.
• People Management:
• Lead, mentor, and motivate supervisors, line chiefs, and sewing operators.
• Conduct regular team meetings and offer constructive performance feedback.
• Promote discipline, safety, and compliance within the sewing section.
• Reporting & Coordination:
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production and efficiency reports.
• Coordinate with the cutting, finishing, IE, QA, and maintenance departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Provide real-time updates to management on production status, challenges, and delays.
