  • Professional certification in manufacturing or process engineering is an advantage.
  • Minimum 03 years of professional experience in production or process engineering, preferably in the luggage and bag manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment related to luggage and bag production.
  • Proficiency in using production planning software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Sound knowledge of quality control and safety standards.
  • Effective communication and team management skills.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and optimize production processes for luggage and bag manufacturing to ensure efficiency and high-quality output.
  • Analyze production workflow and identify opportunities for cost savings and productivity improvements.
  • Collaborate with the design and sourcing teams to align production processes with product specifications.
  • Monitor and control production schedules, ensuring timely delivery and meeting production targets.
  • Oversee the implementation of advanced manufacturing techniques and technologies to enhance production quality.
  • Develop and enforce quality control procedures to meet company and industry standards.
  • Train and guide production staff to ensure adherence to safety, operational guidelines, and quality benchmarks.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular audits of production equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Prepare detailed reports on production performance and present recommendations for process improvement.
