A Production Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily manufacturing or production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. The position bridges management and the production workforce, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining standards and motivating team members.
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and materials effectively to ensure smooth production flow.
Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
Train, guide, and motivate production staff to improve performance and skill levels.
Track production schedules, prepare reports, and communicate progress to management.
Troubleshoot production issues and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and supply chain teams for uninterrupted operations.
Maintain discipline and promote a positive, productive work environment on the production floor.
