Additional Requirements


  • Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least three first classes/divisions or a CGPA of 3.00 throughout the academic career. 20 years of teaching experience, including 7 years as an Associate Professor. At least 15 publications, with 8 as an Associate Professor (4 as first author) in peer-reviewed journals or recognized edited books.
  • MPhil/Foreign Master’s degree (from North America, Europe, or Far-East countries) with 18 years of teaching experience, including 6 years as an Associate Professor. At least 15 publications, with 7 as an Associate Professor (4 as first author) in peer-reviewed journals or recognized edited books.
  • PhD with 14 years of teaching experience, including 5 years as an Associate Professor at the university level. At least 15 publications, including 7 as an Associate Professor (4 as first author) in peer-reviewed journals or recognized edited books. No third class/division throughout the academic career.
  • For all the cases, there should be no third class/division throughout the academic career of the candidate.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Deliver lectures in accordance with university guidelines.
  • Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, and assignments.
  • Provide student counseling and proctorial support.
  • Undertake additional departmental responsibilities as needed.
