Professor of English

Educational Qualification

• Must hold a PhD or equivalent research degree in English or a closely related field.

Professor-III – Publication & Teaching Experience

• Minimum 18 research publications.

• At least 2 publications must be published in SAGE, Emerald, Taylor & Francis, or other journals of comparable high impact.

• Minimum 16 years of teaching experience in a relevant academic field.

Professor-II – Publication & Teaching Experience

• Minimum 20 research publications.

• At least 4 publications must be published in SAGE, Emerald, Taylor & Francis, or other journals of comparable high impact.

• Minimum 18 years of teaching experience in a relevant academic field.

• Deliver engaging and effective English courses using innovative teaching methodologies and appropriate information technology tools.
• Develop and implement high-quality learning resources, teaching materials, course content, and assessment methods.
• Provide students with effective academic guidance and support to ensure a positive and productive learning experience.
• Contribute to continuous professional development in teaching, applied research, student welfare, and curriculum development or management, as applicable.
• Participate actively in academic activities and contribute to the overall development of the English Department and the university.
