Additional Requirements

• Prepare ALERT and IPD panel meeting briefing notes.
• Provide support for the implementation of seasonal programs.
• Develop anticipatory program plans and implementation strategies.
• Collaborate with technical coordinators to prepare BoQs, project budgets, and other required documentation.
• Identify and analyze potential funding opportunities from both internal and external sources.
• Prepare donor reports (interim, mid-term, and final) within deadlines.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for project expenditures.
• Develop high-quality project proposals and concept notes for donors, including ECHO, SIDA, and Start Network.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines.
• Prepare detailed Project Implementation Plans (PIP), Gantt Charts, Quarterly, and Monthly plans, and track progress against targets.
• Monitor project activities through MEAL frameworks and document success stories, challenges, and lessons learned.
• Monitoring and Visibility – 15%
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor program activities and performance.
• Support the MEAL team in conducting gender assessments, baseline, mid-term, and end-line surveys.
• Monitor and evaluate project interventions in line with approved project documents.
• Design comprehensive project monitoring and evaluation plans and systems.
• Develop participatory monitoring tools and implement them at the field level.
• Create various visibility and IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials.
• Support advocacy campaigns and design campaigns promoting disaster risk reduction and climate resilience.
• Stakeholder Collaboration and Capacity Building – 10%
• Liaise with partners, government representatives, donor agencies, and other NGOs to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Support the organization of exit meetings and lessons-learned workshops for ongoing improvement.
• Collect successful project completion letters from relevant authorities.
• Participate in coordination meetings and platforms with government bodies, INGOs, local NGOs, and humanitarian clusters.
• Represent Islamic Relief Bangladesh in national and regional advocacy campaigns and forums.
• Organize training sessions on disaster preparedness, response, and resilience for project staff and community members.
• Develop participatory tools to involve communities in planning and implementing projects.
• Build staff capacity to enhance project quality and compliance.
• Additional Responsibilities – 5%
• Participate in seasonal programs (Ramadan, Qurbani, Winterization, etc.).
• Ensure local purchases and expenditures comply with Islamic Relief Bangladesh policies.
• Maintain inventory, stock books, and other essential registers in a timely and effective manner.
• Support the procurement process (e.g., requisitions, follow-up).
• Be willing and able to travel frequently to remote project areas for extended periods.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
