Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience in relational database design and working with SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools and Crystal Reports.
  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML/HTML5 for front-end development.
  • Sound understanding of object-oriented concepts, design patterns, and data structures.
  • Familiarity with DHTMLX and ANGULAR.JS is a plus.
  • Experience in developing mobile applications for iOS and Android is a plus.
Software Engineering Expertise:
  • In-depth understanding of software engineering methodologies and techniques across all stages of the software development life-cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to work effectively with deadlines and deliverables, ensuring prompt identification of defects and bugs.
Problem Solving and Debugging:
  • Strong focus on finding and addressing issues quickly to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities & Context

Development Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy web applications using C#, .Net Web Forms/.Net Core MVC Web API, Entity Framework/Dapper, SQL Server, JQuery, AJAX, and Reporting Services.
  • Write clean, maintainable code across different logical layers.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
Database and Testing Responsibilities:
  • Conduct backend database testing in a Microsoft SQL Server environment, including validating stored procedures, jobs, and triggers.
  • Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and test artifacts, such as test data, validation scripts, and automated test scripts.
  • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test cases, and design a test coverage plan.
Execution and Quality Assurance:
  • Execute manual and automated test cases, evaluate results, and report findings.
  • Ensure validated deliverables meet functional, design, and specification requirements.
  • Team Collaboration and Monitoring:
  • Collaborate closely with the Technical Lead team to track, monitor, and report project progress.
  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure thorough understanding and accurate implementation.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Stay updated on technology trends and maintain adherence to coding standards.
  • Contribute to technical reviews and troubleshoot complex application issues.
