Requirements

Education


  • Masters, Postgraduate in Economics, Anthropology, Development Studies, Geography, and Environmental Science or in any subject of Social Science disciplines from a reputed university.

Experience


  • 10 Year

Additional Requirements


  • Expertise in program planning, budgeting, financial management, and staff management.
  • Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation of projects.
  • Strong understanding of: Human rights and climate-induced human rights violations, Climate change and environmental degradation, Gender issues and equity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet applications.
  • Experience collaborating with local administration and national networks.
  • Possession of a valid motorbike driving license.
  • Willingness to reside in Assasuni, Shyamnagar, Koyra, or Paikgacha Upazilas and travel frequently to remote areas.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices, including Child Protection, Gender, and Anti-Sexual Harassment.
  • Familiarity with conflict transformation strategies.
  • Ability to maintain close coordination with senior staff of BARCIK in the coastal region and lead applicant NETZ.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the project across designated areas.
  • Ensure alignment with project objectives related to environmental human rights, climate resilience, and community transformation.
  • Facilitate collaboration with partner NGOs and stakeholders in project activities.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare timely reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead capacity-building initiatives for local CSOs to enhance their role in climate resilience and justice.
  • Organize workshops, training, and awareness programs to support project goals.
  • Ensure effective communication between project teams, partners, and beneficiaries.
  • Manage project resources efficiently and maintain financial accountability.
  • Identify challenges and propose solutions for effective project implementation.
