  • Minimum 05 years of demonstrated work experience in project and partnership management is mandatory, with a desired minimum of 07 years in relevant fields such as WASH, Climate Change, and RMG sector.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Support the design and implementation of WaterAid Bangladesh's climate and disaster-related projects and programs in both urban and rural areas, working closely with partner organizations.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate Climate Change Adaptation (CCA), Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), national WASH and climate policies, and climate advocacy at the local level, along with innovative delivery approaches in program activities.
  • Develop training materials, guidelines, and documents to mainstream climate resilience activities, ensuring effective communication and implementation across multiple stakeholders.
  • Build the capacity of partner NGOs in climate-resilient program management, focusing on WASH, community mobilization, and capacity-building initiatives.
  • Foster effective engagement with local government and factory owners to enhance WASH governance and improve program outcomes.
  • Supervise a multidisciplinary team to ensure the effective implementation of projects in climate-vulnerable areas.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with donors and relevant stakeholders to ensure the alignment and success of program activities.
  • Contribute to the Climate Resilience (CR) program’s initiatives by integrating climate-resilient WASH practices into health, education, and livelihood sectors.
  • Establish strong community organizations and coordinate with local government institutions and other sector actors to create accountable and organized systems for task management.
  • Facilitate partner NGOs' activities, ensuring the effective implementation of programs and monitoring project progress.
  • Strengthen partner NGOs' capacity in program management and hygiene activity implementation by mainstreaming WaterAid's best practices.
  • Ensure timely reporting and adherence to grants compliance, organizational policies, and procedures.
  • Regularly visit field locations to monitor and support interventions at the community level.
  • Represent the program/organization at relevant platforms and forums.
  • Serve as the 'Safeguarding Focal Point (SFP)' for the respective programs, projects, partners, and communities, ensuring adherence to relevant guidelines and directives
