Responsibilities & Context
Plan and implement fisheries and aviculture projects to achieve maximum productivity.
Analyze market demand, available resources, and environmental factors to define project scope and objectives for fisheries and poultry operations.
Identify, allocate, and manage essential resources—including land, equipment, manpower, feed, and breeding stock—for efficient and cost-effective operations.
Develop and prepare project facilities in line with technical requirements to ensure optimal conditions for fish and poultry growth.
Execute feeding programs and health management practices to promote healthy growth and prevent disease.
Monitor project performance by tracking water quality (for fisheries), feed conversion ratios, and overall animal health, making adjustments as necessary.
Assign responsibilities, structure teams, and oversee performance to ensure timely and high-quality output, including managing shifts, overtime, and leave schedules.
Ensure workplace safety by enforcing safety standards, providing protective equipment, and safeguarding employee welfare.
Supervise regular production and harvesting activities, maintain records using agricultural management software, and make necessary billing adjustments.
Provide technical oversight and expertise in the development and management of poultry and fisheries projects.
Research, pilot, and adopt new technologies to minimize labor requirements, improve productivity, and optimize resource utilization.
Track critical performance indicators such as water quality and livestock health, take corrective measures when issues arise, and report progress and changes to management.
