Education


  • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering. (BUET/ KUET/ CUET/ RUET/ DUET/SUST graduate, Project Management Professional course completed & MBA completed applicant will get preference).

Additional Requirements


Experience & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry.
  • Must have successfully completed at least two industrial factory building projects (RCC & Steel Structure).
  • 5-6 years of work experience abroad or experience with an international engineering company will be preferred.
  • Candidates ready to join at short notice will have a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities:
  • Project Management & Supervision: Oversee the entire construction process for industrial factory buildings, ensuring all work meets quality standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Design & Visualization: Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design and visualization software for construction drawings and site planning.
  • Communication: Act as a primary point of contact with Consultants, Architects, and clients, ensuring smooth communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • International Coordination: Strong communication abilities to work and collaborate effectively with international engineering companies and stakeholders.
  • Leadership & Execution: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, manage challenges, and handle difficult situations.
  • Construction Oversight: Monitor day-to-day construction activities, ensuring quality control, safety, and adherence to plans.
  • Project Accountability: Responsible for all building construction and project work within the organization.
  • Travel: Willing to travel anywhere in Bangladesh as per company demands.
Skills:
  • Fluency in English is required for effective communication with international clients and teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly in MS Excel for project tracking, cost estimation, and reporting.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve any construction challenges that arise, ensuring the project stays on track.
Additional Preferences:
  • Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience working on factory building construction projects.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Project Management: Manage, design, develop, create, and maintain both small-scale and large-scale industrial construction projects in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner.
Material Procurement:
  • Study and review working drawings and evaluate materials for procurement in the form of requisitions.
  • Estimate materials based on requisition in line with project budget and company guidelines and policies.
Site Investigations & Analysis:
  • Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data from maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other sources.
  • Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that meet technical specifications.
BOQ & Purchase Analysis:
  • Perform BOQ (Bill of Quantities) analysis, Minimum Order Purchase (MOP) calculations, and ensure proper supervision and quality control.
  • Oversee safety protocols and the execution of architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and fire fitting work.
  • Check contractor bills to ensure accuracy and compliance with agreements.
Compliance & Regulations:
  • Ensure adherence to the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC) and relevant construction guidelines and regulations.
  • Ensure all permits, safety standards, and regulatory requirements are met and that technical documentation is delivered as required.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Provide advice and creatively resolve any emerging problems or deficiencies during project execution.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Complete all necessary documentation for the project.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including photos, in accordance with company policy.
Reporting:
  • Directly report to the Managing Director on project status and progress.
Other Duties:
  • Responsible for performing any other tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
