Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, conducting client workshops, preparing functional documentation, supporting solution design, and ensuring successful project delivery through effective stakeholder collaboration and Agile methodologies.
đš Key Responsibilities
đš Requirement Gathering & Client Communication
- Lead client meetings, requirement-gathering sessions, and design workshops
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business processes, challenges, and objectives
- Maintain effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyze and document business requirements to ensure alignment with project goals
đš Business Analysis & Documentation
- Prepare comprehensive:
- Software Requirement Specifications (SRS)
- Business Requirement Specifications (BRS)
- User Journey Presentations (PPT)
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional requirements
- Analyze business processes and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
đš Solution Design & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify and document:
- Business requirements
- Process requirements
- System requirements
- User expectations
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and aligned with business objectives
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for business processes and project requirements
đš Testing & Quality Assurance
- Partner with business users to conduct:
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Functional validation
- Requirement verification
- Analyze and test program logic, workflows, and system functionality
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and documented requirements
đš Agile Project Delivery
- Work within Agile project teams to deliver incremental business value
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and project review sessions
- Support prioritization of requirements based on business impact and project objectives
- Identify requirement gaps, conflicts, risks, and project dependencies
đš Process Improvement & Knowledge Management
- Document business processes, workflows, and operational procedures
- Develop user manuals, system guides, and operational documentation
- Maintain accurate version-controlled project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration among stakeholders
đš Risk & Dependency Management
- Identify conflicting requirements, project risks, and dependency issues
- Escalate concerns to project managers and stakeholders for resolution planning
- Support project governance and change management processes
đš Required Competencies
- Strong business analysis and requirement gathering skills
- Experience preparing SRS, BRS, FRD, Use Cases, User Stories, and Process Flows
- Excellent client communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving capability
- Experience conducting UAT, process mapping, and workflow analysis
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to coordinate effectively with business users, developers, architects, and project managers
