Responsibilities & Context
Project Management:
Oversee all aspects of project management, including cost estimation, material management, planning, and progress monitoring.
Subcontractor Management:
Handle all dealings with subcontractors and ensure smooth coordination for timely project execution.
Supervision & Liaison:
Provide overall supervision of the project and maintain effective communication with relevant stakeholders.
Billing Preparation:
Prepare and manage bills for the project.
Preferred Experience:
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in bridge construction (both flexible and rigid pavement), national highway projects (both flexible and rigid pavement), and large diameter pile construction.
Pre/Post Tension Girder Construction:
Candidates with experience in this area will be favored.
Batching Plant Knowledge:
Must possess knowledge of Asphalt Batching Plants and Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) Batching Plants.
Liaison & Correspondence:
Maintain effective communication and correspondence with government authorities (RHD, CAAB, HED, City Corporation) and consultants.
Must be proficient in preparing bills for submission to government authorities (RHD, CAAB, HED, City Corporation).
Leadership & Independent Project Management:
Lead and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and technical support staff, ensuring effective delegation and supervision.
Should have the ability to manage projects independently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Site Management & Reporting:
Monitor construction progress on-site to ensure adherence to design specifications and management decisions.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports using MS Project (preferred) or Excel.
Material Estimation & Safety Review:
Estimate materials required as per project requisition, in line with the project budget, guidelines, and policies.
Review safety, serviceability, durability, and constructability with integrity and dedication.
Additional Skills:
Candidates with experience in ERP budgeting will be preferred.
