Strong understanding of survivor-centered case management for Gender-Based Violence (GBV)
Good knowledge of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and its reporting procedures
Patient, persuasive, and confident, with the ability to make timely decisions
Good understanding of community dynamics and engagement
Ability to identify high-risk cases and ensure timely service delivery
Sound knowledge of basic gender issues, GBV core concepts, and referral pathways
Strong counseling skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for delivering high-quality case management services to GBV (Gender-Based Violence) survivors in both host communities and camp settings, while strictly adhering to GBV guiding principles, case management standards, and GBVIMS protocols. The position also emphasizes strengthening community-based GBV prevention and response mechanisms by building the capacity of Prevention and Response Volunteers and Community Support Groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional, confidential, and survivor-centered case management services in line with established GBV guiding principles.
Deliver case management support through the GBVIMS+/Primero platform, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and updates.
Facilitate appropriate referrals and conduct regular follow-ups to ensure quality service delivery and comprehensive survivor support.
Maintain accurate case records while upholding strict data protection and confidentiality standards.
Safeguard programme participants, staff, and all individuals interacting with the organization from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation—including Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA)—to uphold the organization’s safeguarding commitments.
Serve as a key resource for guidance, support, and expertise on safeguarding, helping to foster a safe working environment.
Actively promote, practice, and reinforce safeguarding policies among team members, ensuring safeguarding standards are applied in all activities.
Follow established safeguarding reporting procedures in the event of a reportable incident and encourage others to do the same.
