Responsibilities & Context

  • Provide counseling support to FDMN teachers and staff.
  • Design training schedules, modules, and budgets with input from relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver monthly training plans to the Team Lead and donor.
  • Act as the PSEA & Safeguarding Focal for the Education project.
  • Ensure the safety of program participants, individuals interacting with the organization, and team members from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA).
  • Serve as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding to establish a safe working environment.
  • Promote and endorse safeguarding issues within the team and ensure safeguarding standards are implemented across all activities.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation and Knowledge Management – 15%
  • Conduct regular team meetings to share knowledge and findings, ensuring effective program implementation.
  • Assist the project management and MEAL team with research, data collection, impact assessment, and ensuring quality implementation as per the MEAL framework.
  • Take the lead in making the Complaint and Feedback Response Mechanism (CFRM) operational, regularly monitor its activities, and circulate government hotline services (e.g., 999, 333, 109).
  • Conduct project risk assessments and share the mitigation strategy with project management regularly.
  • Manage various audits (external and internal) and handle queries from different agencies per organizational requirements.
  • Financial Management – 5%
  • Manage bills, vouchers, purchase requests (PR), money requisitions, and cash advances.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
  • Staff Management & Capacity Building – 10%
  • Manage and support female volunteers and CWD (Children with Disabilities) volunteers to achieve program objectives.
  • Mentor and guide volunteers to enhance their performance and ensure accountability.
  • Identify learning and development needs for volunteers, coordinating with project management to address these gaps.
  • Provide capacity-building training to volunteers.
  • Reporting and Documentation – 10%
  • Submit quality progress reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to Project Management.
  • Prepare and submit meeting and training reports to the Finance Department.
  • Document significant case stories and lessons learned from the field.
  • Other Responsibilities – 10%
  • Participate in and contribute to seasonal programs (e.g., Ramadan, Qurbani, Winterization).
  • Ensure the security of project staff and participants during interventions.
  • Be willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote project areas.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, ensuring safeguarding implementation.
  • Act as a key source of support and guidance for safeguarding, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • As a member of Islamic Relief, understand and adhere to the Child Protection & PSEA Policy, and respond accordingly as required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
