Education


  • Masters, Master’s Degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related fields.

  • Strong therapeutic and counseling abilities with a trauma-informed approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic project needs.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Therapeutic Support & Counseling
  • Provide trauma-focused therapy through individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Address the mental health needs of survivors and family members of the deceased.
  • Offer mental health interventions in crisis or emergency response situations.
  • Community Engagement & Awareness
  • Supervise and mentor lay psychologists and community mobilizers to strengthen mental health support.
  • Participate in community sensitization campaigns to reduce stigma and raise awareness.
  • Conduct field visits for needs assessments and community engagement.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration & Referrals
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality mental health care.
  • Refer severe cases to specialized facilities such as NIMH, NPHL, or Shojon for further intervention.
  • Reporting & Data Management
  • Maintain accurate client records and session-wise data tracking.
  • Prepare and submit monthly activity reports on progress and outcomes.
  • Support the Mental Health Coordinator in report writing, data management, and project-related tasks.
  • Risk Management & Planning
  • Assist in project risk management and contribute to activity planning.
  • Take on any additional responsibilities as assigned by the management.
