Responsibilities & Context
Purchasing & Procurement Management
-
Oversee purchasing operations across departments, including work, projects, policies, and standards.

Generate accurate reports, presentations, and data analysis to support decision-making.
-
Compile, code, categorize, audit, and verify information to ensure accuracy.
-
Ensure sanitation and safety compliance in all storerooms.
-
Assist the Executive Chef with purchasing food, beverages, and controllable items to maintain quality and profitability.
-
Place orders based on business requirements and assist in controlling food and beverage costs.
-
Implement and enforce first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory rotation and maintain proper inventory controls.
-
Safeguard storeroom assets and ensure minimal stock levels without compromising operational needs.
-
Coordinate with kitchen staff, restaurant management, and vendors to meet delivery schedules.
-
Verify received goods against invoices for quantity, quality, and specifications.
-
Use computer systems for daily and period-end food and beverage cost calculations.
-
Maintain accurate inventory records, logs, and perpetual accounts for controllable items.
-
Administer invoices, bookkeeping, and ensure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
Accounting & Financial Management in Purchasing

Apply accounting knowledge to purchasing operations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.

Use computer systems to program, enter data, and process financial information.

Stay updated on technical knowledge and apply it effectively.

Lead teams by example, demonstrating integrity, sound financial decision-making, and interpersonal skills.

Conduct timely performance reviews, manage disciplinary matters, and maintain finance and accounting goals.

Ensure accurate documentation of profits, losses, and taxes while achieving budget and performance goals.
Support & Collaboration

Provide guidance to teams and other departments on accounting, budgeting, and financial resource utilization.
