• Conduct various inspections to identify and manage non-conforming products during production.
• Train station QCs to proactively provide solutions and guide factories to prevent non-conforming products.
• Complete risk assessments, review customer comments, and verify all feedback from Size Sets; conduct Pre-Production Meetings (PPM) and oversee pilot and bulk production.
• Ensure all style files and relevant approvals are received by QC and factory teams before beginning production.
• Escalate any exceptions or delays to team members for timely action.
• Follow up on online setup to ensure all process controls and machines are in place to meet quality standards and planned production output.
• Train, certify, and ensure effective use of the factory lab (where available) by factory QC teams.
• Initiate quality improvement projects (knitting, linking, finishing, housekeeping tests) in factories and track progress with weekly and monthly MIS reports.
• Inspect workmanship, quality, measurements, fitting, and materials according to tech packs, highlighting any discrepancies during production.
• Drive daily production progress, meet with factory top management, and address any issues.
• Conduct in-line, pre-final, packing audits, and Final Random Inspections (FRI) according to SOP, ensuring customer quality, testing, and packaging requirements are met and mitigating potential risks.
• Segregate rejected lots, maintain records, and ensure procedures for controlling leftover garments.
• Ensure product safety standards, including mold prevention, pest control, sharp tool management, pull and bonding tests, neck stretch minimums, and lab and chemical testing as per ZXY and customer standards.
• Oversee third-party in-line and final inspections effectively.
• Facilitate night inspections or urgent tasks with special approval for ZXY QC teams.
• Communicate transparently on delivery, quality issues, or QC concerns with the QAM, DQM, BU Head, and GM Quality, and resolve proactively.
• Allocate the QC team according to ZXY SOPs to effectively handle each factory.
• Evaluate QC team performance and initiate training or corrective actions to ensure standards are met.
• Ensure adherence to ZXY quality, testing (chemical and physical), and compliance SOPs for every order.
• Follow buyer requirements for sample and bulk knitting, linking, washing, and finishing, and provide troubleshooting support where needed.
