  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a reputable buying office, factory, or composite unit.
  • Specialized Skills:
  • Expertise in Knit & Woven fabrics, fabric inspection, and pattern amendments.
  • Proficiency in Quality Control/Audit processes, including basics of printing, embroidery, washing, and risk analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with pre-production processes.
  • Knowledge in categories such as men’s, ladies’, children’s apparel, and ensuring product safety and process controls.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to interact, build relationships, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Well-groomed, smart, and energetic.
  • Proactive, dynamic, and efficient in managing tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to perfection.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla and English.
  • Strong presentation and delivery abilities.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office at an advanced level, particularly in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Ability to multitask, remain organized, and meet deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities & Context

Fabric and Production Monitoring:

  • Oversee fabric approvals and inventory based on the Micro-Production Plan (MPP) and communicate any issues to the AQM/QAM.
Factory Collaboration:
  • Ensure the factory provides accurate daily production updates to the merchant team and work closely with key personnel on sampling and sewing processes to meet delivery deadlines.
Issue Escalation:
  • Identify and escalate exceptions or delays to QA or QAM for timely resolution.
Pre-Production Oversight:
  • Review size sets, provide feedback, implement pattern amendments, and facilitate Pre-Production Meetings (PPM) upon size set approval.
Production Process Control:
  • Supervise line feeding, machine setups, and mock-up approvals. Ensure all line setup controls and line loading processes adhere to ZXY standards.
Bulk Production Quality Checks:
  • Inspect the first production bundle per ZXY SOPs, ensure compliance with tech packs and customer comments, and maintain quality levels across bulk production.
Specific Focus Areas:
  • Verify fabric quality, color, print placement, washing standards, hand-feel, and test parameters. Conduct daily inspections and ensure compliance with cutting quality, shade variation, and print/embroidery standards.
Sample Quality and KPI Achievement:
  • Ensure sample quality achieves above 95% on first-time, on-time approvals from ZXY HQ.
SOP Adherence:
  • Implement best practices and maintain ZXY SOP standards for all orders, customer-grade specific.
Inspection and Reporting:
  • Conduct daily inline and pre-final inspections, including measurement checks and random tests, as per ZXY SOPs. Maintain factory QC records and resolve production issues proactively.
Ethics and Compliance:
  • Flag any unethical behavior, SOP violations, or attempts to mishandle rejected or inferior-quality shipments. Report concerns to the respective QAM, DMQ, or GM Quality.
